I've moved on from LJ. I will post F/O stuff occasionally and read my friends' journals but I am now officially on Blogspot.com via Gmail. If you want to subscribe to my feed, awesome! If not at least bookmark the page so you can see what kind of trouble I'm getting into now.

Where have I been?

Sadly, nowhere I'd like to be. On the flipside I signed up for school and start in January to pursue Technical Writing; tho' I may change that. I'm not going to school to be anything per se`, just going to do something until I figure it out what it is I want to be when I grow up. LoL

My former employer and his former employee are harassing me and they are stupid enough to get a nice disrimination/ slander case against them.  Don't they know to never play the race card?  Silly bastards.

I have been so out of the loop on everything and I've come to the point in my life where I can honestly say, I am insanely bored and need a major change. I'm ready to be out in society and deal with stupid people on a regular basis. I'll flip fucking donuts at this point - I don't care!!!
Seems you need a degree to do that nowadays too.

Tom and I are doing good, I started smoking again and he isn't allowed to. I only did it to lose all the weight I've gained from my previous medication. I'm also a juicing fanatic! I go back to the Drx. on Thursday so we'll see where I stand with that. I'm on Cymbalta so it blocks all nerve pain which means - I can walk and exercise again! I'm feeling A LOT better.

I am working on a my second book of poetry which should be out next month, maybe November.

Oh... I got stuff on Ebay: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/lisavicious

I will start posting again more...

Trailer Park Documentary

*scene opens with music from the tornado scene from the Wizard of Oz*

Nanette, a seemingly older middle aged woman (tho' around the these parts I find people are much younger than they look) is riding her bike to the mailbox. She is a chubby woman; wearing lime green spandex see-thru pants with purple ruffled panties, a white t-shirt and yellow scarf in her hair. She smells of menthol cigarettes and wet dog.

*close scene*

Yes, this actually DID happen.  Do you think I could make this shit up?

Sadist's Lullaby

Sadist’s Lullaby (poem)

Fire. Ravens. Marching forward...time keeps moving on.
There seemed to be a mix-up in the red brick house near dawn,
but slowly changing, ever changing, elevated minds,
I curse you, under, my breath deeply...
now the time has come,
with claw marks, bruises, bitten ankles, hearts bleeding from men,
you had your chance now, real big chance, now you must lie in it.

There was a day then, back in the day then, I would sit and wait,
so quietly, so naively, so stupid with my grin...
you gave me things like diamond rings and some form of PTStressDisorder,
while you watched me cry,
then one day, that hot June day,
I realized I was wrong,
how dare I let a little man with petite hands play me like a song,
a bleached blonde junkie drunk with abortion papers,
an OCD Nazi,
a schitzophrenic voodoo dollie,
oh, and Mommy Dearest to boot!

I shot them all in my head,
some hung by a noose of their own hair,
I watched them fall, one and all...
here are the crosses I bare.

I forgot how much I enjoy a good Scotch whiskey on the rocks! The bar at my Grandparents house was cleaned out and I had to seize the opportunity ;-)

Today was a good day; for a couple of hours I had a new pet, Princess. We had a colony of strays that had lives next to us under an old house but on Friday they took it down, thus leaving the cats without a home. Well, today this beautiful girl came crawling up on our porch with a wounded tail and and was looking pretty rough. She is the only cat that trusts me enough to touch her. She crawled up on my lap and was shaking so badly so I brought her in and cleaned her up.  Tom won't let me have another cat so I had to put her back outside after I fed her and cleaned her. She hasn't left the porch since.  I would assume she's had human contact before since she is so damned friendly or she was just really scared.  Hopefully when Tom gets home and sees her he'll change his mind ;-)

Look at this beauty!

If I did keep her, does anyone know how I should handle Bob? I know he'll be jealous, he is still sniffing around for her.  I'd want them to get along, when I brought her in Bob schreeched and ran into the closet.

 Well, where to start? It's been awhile, first of all congrats [info]kitschicat - you got married! Tom and I are so happy for you and George.

CREATIVE GODLINESS

I have finished my book The Devil in Ms. Vicious ahead of schedule. 81 pages of poetry, journal entries, and illustrations by yours truly.  Despite added health problems I've struggled through a few different projects, after a almost a year of sitting on it, I've finished a "The Vicious Virgin" sculpture:

1ft x 9in ceramic with paint and real blood & Sacred Heart syringe.

A Wishing Well...

good day tater
 While walking to the mailbox today I saw a neighbour's house on the next block... in their front yard was a water fountain!  I know what my husband will be doing this summer!  I can't believe I own my own backyard...finally I can garden and have a bird feeder. I know, it sounds simple and gay but it means a lot that we own a home now.  Tom and I have been through so much that this is a huge relief and blessing for us.

I'm having a good day.  If the weather stays this way and my pain goes away (that's another story I don't feel like writing about now), I forsee many good days ahead.

Also, if your on Myspace, add me. I've got A LOT going on over there...I will repost some of my blogs here soon.

Last year on May-17 I held a benefit @ Smalls in Hamtramck, MI (a Detroit bordering city). All door proceeds went to The National Kidney Foundation (www. kidney. org). It was a HUGE success. We raised more money then we ever imagined!! The bands were great and everyone had a blast!!

This year were going to do it again!!!

As many of you know, Squirrel (lead singer of the Detroit Oi band - The Cavity Creeps, and long time punk scene supporter) has renal disease, kidney failure, and relies on dialysis treatments 3 times a week for 4 ½ hours each time to stay alive! I’ve been on the kidney transplant list since 2006. Things don’t always get better for people on dialysis as this is after all an artificial way to do what your body is to be doing naturally!

This year it will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008. We plan to have 5-6 bands! Also, the NKF walk at the Detroit Zoo this year is May 18, 2008

We are looking for bands that would like to play the benefit and companies/bands to donate items for a ‘door prize’ and ‘raffle’ drawing. Such as cd’s, t-shirts, gift certificates, ad space in your magazine/zine, etc.

If you can help in any way please contact me with what you can help with!

The poster we had for last year’s event was done by the extremely talented, Craig Holloway, who has designed MANY posters, logos, cd covers, etc. Recently doing the
new AGNOSTIC FRONT cd cover!

Craig is unavailable to do this year due to other commitments so,
we are looking for someone to design this years flyer/poster!

As last years got press and noted by the NKF themselves!

SO FAR WE HAVE CONFIRMED -

* Jimmy Doom (poet & vocalist of Detroit punk legends A.L.D.)
* Lisa Vicious (poet),
* Grommet (band),
* Anti-Social Degenerates (band)
* The Cavity Creeps (band)

Thanks a bunch for reading. Hope to see ya there!

P.S. – Bands please keep in mind, this is a benefit and there will be no payment for you playing. There will also be NO guest list!!
